Abstract
Publishers employ many readers that go through various authors’ manuscripts and either influence changes, accept or reject those manuscripts authors send in.In this thesis the author proposes to search out these literary figures, the publisher’s readers, and to bring to them a measure of the honor due them by pointing out who they are, how they work, and some definite results in literature brought about by them and the overall immeasurable value to literature the publisher’s reader has brought to literature.
