Abstract
The research reported here was an effort to understand the process of primary productivity in the Salt Valley Lakes, to measure the rates at which it occurs, and to determine how rapidly the production process is increasing as the reservoirs undergo eutrophication. With such understanding may come answers that will slow or halt the eutrophication process.
Five Salt Valley Reservoirs, Branched Oak, Pawnee, Wagon Train, Stagecoach and Holmes were sampled periodically in 1968, 1969 and 1970 in the course of this research.
