Abstract
The present study was undertaken for the purpose of gaining an increased understanding of the perception of preschool children. The specific objectives were to determine whether form or color is dominant in the perception of four-year-old children and to determine whether or not the preference for form or color by four-year-old children is related to sex, intelligence or the familiarity of the stimulus object.
