Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and partially evaluate the procedures and outcomes of the citizenship program of the Nash-Jensen Post of the American Legion at Palmyra, Nebraska. This program was cooperatively developed by the Legionnaires, laymen, school workers and pupils in Douglas, Eagle, Palmyra and Unadilla. These towns and their surrounding territories constitute the area served by the Post.
