Abstract
The present study was conducted in an attempt to secure information on changes that have occurred in the genetic variances in advanced generations of mass selection derived from the Hays Golden variety of corn.
The study was mainly concerned with the estimation of additive genetic and dominance variances obtained in the sixth generation of mass selection in the control and irradiated Hays Golden populations as compared with the original variety through use of design I progenies.
