Abstract

Considerable interest has been shown by many breeders in improving the performance of various organisms through the use of various breeding methods. Recorded results from crosses of breeds, varieties or strains of turkeys have been variable. In most cases no comprehensive study of all factors involved was made. More data are needed on the results of crosses in turkeys. It was the intent of this experiment to study some of the effects of crossing varieties of turkeys.
