Abstract
The specific purpose of this study is obtain some measure or representative indication of the most relevant factors which influence the planting of winter wheat in Nebraska.Price is usually considered to be the most important. This, along with several other variables, is to be used to explain changes in planted wheat acreages.
This study begins with a review of the theoretical concepts associated with the supply response for the wheat enterprise. With these concepts and ideas in mind, a multiple correlation model was constructed in an effort to test the theoretical analysis. The results of this analysis are found in the last section of the study.
