Abstract

The purpose of this research was threefold: (1) to learn the dosage of 2,4-D which can be applied without causing permanent injury to grass seeding; (2) to determine whether or not there is a difference between species as regards susceptibility to 2,4-D injury; and (3) to ascertain the stage of growth of the competing species at which time their destruction would be most beneficial to the grass seedlings.
