Abstract
Four hundred fifty-one species and subspecies of ground beetles were reported for Mongolia. Twenty-nine species are new for the fauna: Calosoma sycophanta (LINNAEUS, 1758), Carabus (Coptolabrus) schrencki MOTSCHULSKY, 1860 ? ssp., Elaphrus (Elaphroterus) punctatus MOTSCHULSKY, 1844, Dyschiriodes marani KULT, 1949, Dyschiriodes pusillus (DEJEAN, 1815), Broscus ? semistriatus DEJEAN, 1828, Bembidion (Asioperyphus) pamiricola LUTSHNIK, 1930, Bembidion (Asioperyphus) pseudoinfuscatum REBL i. litt, Bembidion (Hirmoplataphus) hirmocaelum CHAUDOIR, 1850, Bembidion (Peryphodes) amurense (MOTSCHULSKY, 1859), Bembidion (Peryphus) insidiosum holdhausi FASSATI, 1952, Bembidion (Peryphus) petrosum GEBLER, 1833, Bembidion (Plataphus) gebleri (GEBLER, 1833), Bembidion (Plataphus) roborovskii MICHAILOV, 1988, Bembidion quadripustulatum AUDINET- SERVILLE, 1821, Pogonistes ? rufoaeneus DEJEAN, 1828, Chlaenius (Chlaeniellus) near extensus MANNERHEIM, 1825, Chlaenius (Chlaeniellus) semenovi Tschitschérine, 1895, Chlaenius (Chlaeniellus) tristis (SCHALLER, 1783), Chlaenius (Chlaenites) inderiensis MOTSCHULSKY, 1850, Masoreus wetterhallii GYLLENHAL, 1813, Harpalus (s.str.) corporosus MOTSCHULSKY, 1861, Harpalus (s.str.) smaragdinus DUFTSCHMID, 1812, Badister ? meridionalis PUEL, 1925, Agonum (Olisares) sculptipes (BATES, 1883), Agonum (s.str.) sexpunctatum LINNAEUS, 1758, Limodromus longiventris MANNERHEIM, 1825, Poecilus (s.str.) cupreus LINNAEUS, 1758, and Pterostichus (Platysma) planicola TSCHITSCHERINE, 1899. The research of the ground beetle fauna in Mongolia is discussed and new results are given.
