Abstract

The Internet is the most transforming invention in human history. The Internet has changed the world. It has changed the present and will continue to change the future. The Internet has fostered many significant changes in all industries. The Internet has created many industries, such as on-line auctions and digital marketplaces. It is the Application Service Providers (ASPS) model. Korea Telecom (KT) is the largest telecommunication company in Korea. KT has launched a new business, Bizmeka, based on the e-Portal model. The e-Portal model is the next generation of a genetic ASP model. e-Portal represents an Internet based marketplace of business applications, solutions, and software. KT Bizmeka is a world leading e-portal in providing from a small sized-software for small business to ERP functionality for large organization.
