Second order dynamic equations on time scales

Jacob Weiss, University of Nebraska - Lincoln

Abstract

In this paper I will give criteria under which boundary value problems for second order dynamic equations on time scales have positive solutions. There are sections on existence of positive solutions to second-order singular boundary value problems and second-order functional boundary value problems. Also, I will give conditions under which a second-order formally self-adjoint operator is limit-point.
