Abstract

For many years educational authorities have recognized the responsibility of the public school to provide educational opportunities beyond those required in the usual kindergarten through grade twelve educational program. the recognition of this need many schools have developed adult education programs as a part of the total offering of the school. With rare exceptions, these adult education courses are taught in the existing school facilities. The desirability of sharing the school facilities for the use of adult education has not been seriously questioned.
