Abstract
The complexities of modern life and the responsible role in world affairs which the United States is called upon to play, demand resolute facing of major problems involving national security and the general welfare. To meet the problems which successive years bring, educational administrators must sense the pulse of an expanding economy, manage a complex governmental sub-division, retain the unity which shapes national direction, assume a mature role in national decision making, and identify those who are to be encouraged to receive training for leadership--a leadership capable of handling wisely the momentous responsibilities placed upon education.
