Abstract

The course offerings in the area of Business Education are designed to provide education for business and education about business. A course in introduction to business is typically designed to provide knowledge and exposure to edu- cation about business.The current emphasis on educational accountability has indicated the need for continuous evaluation in providing for the improvement of educational practices. The techno- logical complexity of the business world requires qualified personnel who can readily transfer skills and knowledge to new and challenging situations. The American society is primarily business oriented, and the need for an economically literate populace is recognized in the aims and goals of basic business education. Basic business education must heed the temper of the times--for the rapidity of change mandates the need for improved materials, procedures, and methods in the teaching of education about business.
