The Entomology Department offers a full curriculum distance MS degree in Entomology. The distance option is taught online. It emphasizes course work in entomology and offers flexibility in non-entomological training specific to individual student needs and interests. The distance MS option was developed for students who cannot participate in an on-campus degree program, including individuals actively involved in professions where advanced training in entomology is desirable. Examples include agricultural professionals, crop consultants, pest control operators, middle and high school science and biology teachers, and military personnel. The distance MS in Entomology degree program is a fully recognized and accredited degree program of the University of Nebraska.
