Abstract

This publication provides background information on the trend of youth gambling and suggests things parents can do if they suspect their child is gambling.

The International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High Risk Behavior reports, "Our recent data suggests that while 55 percent of adolescents are casual or recreational gamblers, 13 percent have some gambling realted problems and 4-6 percent have a serious problem."
