March 4, 2011 The Center for Great Plains Studies, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, presents its 367th Interdisciplinary Symposium, “Diverse Faces, Shared Histories: Immigrants on the Great Plains,” will be held on campus at the Great Plains Art Museum, 1155 Q Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a one-day symposium featuring national and state scholars and writers speaking on the history, politics, and personal narratives of immigration from Native, African American, and Latino perspectives. The symposium is designed to broaden our understanding about immigration on the Great Plains. The conference is free and open to the public. See page 178 for more information.
