Abstract

Kiewit is a large construction company that employees many different welders. On a single job site, anywhere from 20-50 welders can be employed with a single welding manager to supervise them. The Advanced Welding Analytics Raikes Design Studio project was a continuation of Kiewit's efforts to provide their welding managers a convenient way to collect, aggregate, and display data through a hardware board, Raspberry Pi base station, backend API, and a frontend user interface.
