Abstract
In 1516, Erasmus published two works, the Greek New Testament and a new edition of the works of Jerome. This paper then seeks to further examine the epistolary connections Erasmus forged throughout Europe during the short time period before and after, from 1514-1517. Furthermore, this paper also includes the usage of Palladio, which is a visualization technology to help explore these differences in connection, specifically in a geographic sense. In doing so, proving the expansion of communication in Erasmus’ letters during this time, and the shift in communication about these works from promotion to defense of criticism.
