Abstract
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Honors Program was established in 1985. As the Honors Program continues to grow, it is important to evaluate the program’s value proposition. A SWOT analysis and competitor overview were conducted toward this goal. Strengths include the honors building Knoll, existing cohorts, and established connections. Weaknesses include retention and reputation. Opportunities include scholarship endeavors and marketing efforts. Threats include loss of community and student workload. There were 35 student responses to the survey and ten students interviewed in-depth. This research ran from the start of January 2024 to the end of February 2024.
