Abstract

This case study explores the history and future prospects of Walmart’s business strategy. The case study compares Walmart to its main competitor, Amazon, in aspects of strengths, weaknesses, and competitive advantages. By utilizing Porter’s Five Forces for this analysis, the author offers recommendations for future actions and strategies Walmart may employ for continued business success.
