Abstract
This document provides information regarding a translation of a chapter from a Japanese computer science textbook. The information includes a retrospective of the translation process, the translation itself, and the original Japanese source document. The chapter chosen for translation is about data structures and algorithms, which is a commonly discussed topic in the field of computer science, especially in academia. The translation was done in hopes that it may serve as a bridge for those studying both Japanese and computer science. The translation was performed by a single student with assistance from professors in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
