Abstract
Implications
Wildlife–livestock conflict can be broadly categorized as either competition for resources, disease transmission between wildlife and domestic species, or predation.
Management strategies can either focus on management of the livestock or management of the wildlife. Dynamic integration of both these strategies likely provides the best solution in many scenarios.
Reducing conflict and maintaining ecologically appropriate and viable populations of wildlife and thriving human endeavors should be the ultimate goal.
