Abstract

Six new species of Aphodius Illiger (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae) are described from the central United States. They are: Aphodius ashworthi, Aphodius barri, Aphodius gardneri, Aphodius salsburyi, Aphodius sayi, Aphodius ulkei.
