Abstract

Twitch.tv, the internet's largest live streaming site, reaches a huge audience, yet it is an under-utilized advertising platform. This guide solves four problems that are identified with advertising on Twitch:

1. Advertisers and media buyers don't know about Twitch or why it's important
2. The negative stereotypes of gamers and internet culture scare brands
3. There are no widely accepted best practices for advertising on Twitch or identifying Twitch influencers
4. There are few public examples of advertising success on the platform.
