Abstract
User studies help build need-based and balanced collections. A questionnaire was used to collect data about use of information sources by research scholars of Gulbarga University of Karnataka State. A majority of the research scholars visit the library daily, and most indicated that they visit to use the Internet. Most found the collection inadequate to meet their information needs.
