Abstract
The paper explores library and information services in agricultural science university libraries in south India. A structured questionnaire collected user information on user perceptions. The University of Agricultural Sciences Library, Bangalore and the University of Agricultural Sciences Library, Dharwad ranked first and second in user satisfaction. A majority of the post graduate students (77.25%) and research scholars (72.04%) reported that their recommendation are not considered in procuring the information resources, but most faculty (78.12%) state that their recommendation are taken into consideration. A majority of users found the existing print collection adequate, but that electronic sources are inadequate.
