Abstract
Diverse research investigations and observations have revealed that majority of Nigerian university libraries do not have adequate information delivery tools. This seems to be characterized by the failure of these various higher institutions to acquire and utilize same for information delivery.The study gave brief introduction and definition of drone and delve into the history on the evolution of drone technology down to its present stage. It went further to categorize the different types of drones/UAVs. This study revealed the use of drone technology as an information delivery tool in the library and also showcase the benefits of its applicability to the agricultural sector in rendering
