Abstract

The paper presents a scientometric analysis of the Nanomedicine research output of India during the year 2010-2019 collected from the Web of Science database. Publication pattern, Degree of Collaboration, Authorship pattern, Collaborative index, International collaboration, Relative Growth Rate, Doubling Time are some of the aspects considered for the study. The number of research publications in nanomedicine gradually increased during the studied period. Articles are the most published form of research output and the multi-author pattern is dominating. India is in third place in terms of the number of publications but almost last in terms of average citation per paper among the top contributed countries. Muthu M S is the most prolific author and Singh S is the second prolific author. Most of the highly cited articles are published in foreign journals.
