Abstract
Grey literature has an important role in information transferring process. This study evaluates the citations of grey literature by the researchers to analyze the citations of grey literature forms in doctoral theses which are awarded by the Department of Library and Information Science by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad during the period from 2015 to 2019. For analyzing the data, average, percentage distributions (presented in charts, tables etc.).The study reveals that Grey Literature is the most utilized as reference materials in the theses. The highest number of Grey Literature cited in the year 2016, 140 citations per thesis and lowest number of Grey Literature cited in the year 2019, 79 citations per thesis. The result of this study may serve the user study in respect of collection development and user services designing in libraries.
