Abstract
This article aims to assess library web pages of Indian institutes of management (IIMs) in North India. A checklist was designed and web analyzer sites use for analysis of library webpages of IIMs. The scope of the study is limited to the six Indian institutes of management of the North India region. The finding reveals that All the IIMs libraries have their working library webpage. All the IIMs libraries' WebPages (0%) do not have the feature of "visitor counter and date of library web page update." All six (100%) of IIMs libraries webpages have not used any web 2.0 tools. And it is found that the websites of IIM Jammu and IIM Kashipur were not secured with SSL certification. Website hosting server, Programming language and version of CMS were not hidden in almost all the library webpages. The study findings reveal the library webpages of IIM Jammu and IIM Kashipur are on the top rank, and IIM Lucknow and IIM Rohtak are the second in place of merit, followed by IIMS and IIMA. The study alludes to carrying out such evaluative studies to highlight and compare various websites for their productivity to meet users' needs and expectations. The study also emphasizes various vulnerabilities available in WebPages of libraries.
