Abstract
The study examines the transportation and accommodation facilities in academic performance and utilization of library resources and services by undergraduate students of Michael Okpara University of agriculture Abia, Nigeria. Undergraduate students from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Abia, are the respondents. The main objective of the study is to assess the transportation and accommodation facilities in academic performance and utilization of library resources and services by undergraduate students of the studied university in order to analyze the types of transportation and accommodation facilities available. The researcher took 0.4 % of the entire respondent population= 35335= 150, so one hundred and fifty (150) copies of the questionnaires were given to the respondents. One hundred thirty eight (138) copies were retrieved and analyzed, representing 92 %. The process of observation was also used to fill in the holes that the questionnaire did not fill in. Key findings show that in the Agriculture University Library MOUA, agricultural information tools and facilities available, accessible and used are no sufficient enough. Therefore, the researcher recommended the enhancement of existing information tools, and subscriptions of offline database such as AGORA, HINARI, AJOL, and JSTORE
