Based on the results of the study, it was found that the literacy of maternal disaster communication in Banjar Regency was still weak. Literacy is related to exposure to information, the ability to find information and communicate that information to the critical ability to the information provided by the authorities either directly or through the media or from community leaders. Both during litigation, countermeasures even after a disaster occurs. This can be caused by the choice of information media from the government that is not fit with the characteristics of mothers in Banjar district.
