Abstract
The libraries of Colleges of Teacher Education play a vital role in the educational process. The impact of motivating factors on seeking and collecting information among the faculty of Government and Government Aided colleges of Teacher Education has been studied. The highly motivating factor for visiting college libraries by faculty of teacher’s education colleges is to prepare for student project works. There is an association between this motivating factor and age or gender of the teachers.
