Efficient use of resources is critical for development. Electronic resources and Web-based library services (WBLS) in the era of modernization and technological advancement marks a prominent role. Given such importance to these electronic resources and web-based library services, to understand their efficient use and user’s patterns as well as the purpose of utilization, this paper tries to assess the usability, and perception regarding web-based library services and electronic resources. For this purpose, the paper utilizes the primary field data from 300 students of selected IIMs in India. In the course of imparting quality management education by selected institutions, the libraries of the IIMs are playing a vital role by providing resources and information sources to the users. The Internet and web-based technologies are well used in their libraries to provide the access to resources through the library web portals. The study also finds out several bottlenecks in the smooth utilization of WBLS including inadequate resources, lack of information literacy, speed of the internet, and preference toward print resources, etc.
