Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the websites of universities recognized by UGC using different parameters. Small SEO tools, MOZ and SimilarWeb were utilized to collect data related to the websites. Analysis of the website revealed that the majority of universities were grouped under 'Class A' which specifies that they have a large number of host in their network. Universities also used 'https' secure protocol for transferring data over the network. Domain authority and page authority revealed that the 'University of Mumbai' has the highest domain authority whereas "Savitribai Phule Pune University' has the highest page authority. Traffic analysis of different university websites is also discussed.
