Abstract
This study is undertaken to study the library websites/blogs created and maintained by the librarians of Government Degree Colleges in Telangana, their effectiveness in providing anticipated and on demand information to the students which help them in their learning and research needs. The study shows that optimum marketing of the libraries is done by these websites, providing academic e-resources as well as general information is disseminated to the users such as competitive exam related, career oriented guidance, television, music channel links, devotional and even resources/links for learning a language find a place in these websites.
