Abstract
Introduction
The recognition that archeological sites form a class of non-renewable resources has become a key element of the legislative and regulatory proves during the last several decades. In the past the principal alternative used to mitigate adverse effects on significant archeological resources subject to construction or other kinds of land development has simply been systematic archeological excavation.
