Abstract
Goal setting is a very important part of being successful in life. Goals allow a student to be self-motivated and build many skills that will be useful later in their life after high school and college. It is important to develop these good goal setting skills so that a student will always be motivated and focused to work towards something. It has been seen that students who set goals are more likely to develop characteristics of leadership, team work, accountability, and overcoming tough challenges they may encounter.
