Abstract
What is wrong with physics?
- Lowest number of BS degrees in 40 years, but seems to be leveling off.
- High percentage of foreign PhD students in many departments.
What are some ways out of this situation?
- A way might be curriculum innovation

they seem to have a greater overlap.
- How did it happen?
- How does it work?
- What will be the result?
