Abstract
The original description for the genus and species of the small canid, Oxetocyon Cuspidatus Green was propsed on a single upper molar from the Oligocene of South Dakota. The teeth contained in the skull present evidence, which would suggest that Oxetocyon Cuspidatus Green from late Oligocene deposits is most closely related to the canids.
