Abstract

MultiWeave is a textile technique for creating three-dimensional structures. It enables layered and net-like forms using just warp and weft, yet resembles additive manufacturing more than traditional weaving. Originally inspired by 3D printing, MultiWeave has evolved through collaboration—starting at hackathons, then developed into a university research project and craft technique. This paper explores how MultiWeave has grown through peer networks, interdisciplinary teamwork, and student engagement, showing its creative and educational potential.
