Abstract
An attempt was made in the present study to correlate the soil contents of sulfate sulfur and of phosphorus at different depths with yields of alfalfa forage and its contents of sulfur and of phosphorus. To obtain the necessary data, 11 field experiments were established in 10 Nebraska counties in 1963. These experiments compared different sources and rates of sulfur.
