Thesis (M.S.)—University of Nebraska—Lincoln, 1966. Department of Electrical Engineering.
Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to develop some useful concepts in the application of numerical methods to solve differential equations. The concepts are developed, using engineering analysis techniques such as Leplace transforms, control system theory, rootlocus analysis, etc. This thesis therefore provides engineers the background necessary to understand and have confidence in the use of numerical methods without concerning themselves with unfamiliar mathematical theories and proofs.
