Abstract
The stability of the Al,0,-supported dimers under relatively high ccirperatures and hydrocarbon/H, (carburizing) atmospheres is reported Also, it has been developed a new method for Mo,''* loading of the support based on the wet impregnation of the latter.
Since carbided Mo is active for hydrogenations, the isobutene/H2 has been chosen as the probé reaction. ALO,- supported Mo,(Ac)^ results in a catalyst active for isobutene hydrogenation after trcatment with a H,/C,H^ 2:1 mixture at 753 K.
