Abstract
First Capital Partners (“FCP” or the “Company”) is a mezzanine debt and private equity firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. The firm is on its third fund, with total committed capital of $150MM. This paper examines FCP to understand its role in the private investing industry. The analysis will include both the private credit and private equity industries as the Company competes in both of them. Tools used in this analysis include a PESTEL analysis and Porter’s Five Forces. Through this analysis, strategic recommendations will be made for how FCP can best position itself in the industry.
