Abstract

MICAH House, a nonprofit homeless shelter, relies on donations from the community. Currently, they are tracking their donations by hand in order to organize information for yearly audits. The MICAH House Design Studio team was tasked with helping MICAH House overcome this problem by modernizing the in-kind donation system with the use of technology. At MICAH House, their current manual and outdated process for tracking the in-kind donations is cumbersome and inefficient. This project seeks to implement a personalized software platform to streamline donation tracking, enhance donor relations, and optimize operational efficiency.
