Abstract

This packet gives some information on the Fourth of July, or Independence Day. This is a holiday celebrated in the United States where you will hear and see a lot of fireworks. You will also see a lot of families celebrating by wearing red, white and blue, hanging up the American Flag and maybe even having a party with their family. Please know that this packet is to help you understand why the holiday is celebrated and we do not expect you to celebrate or enjoy the holiday. For math you will continue to work on measuring and telling time. For science you will be making underwater fireworks so you can join in on the fun if you would like. Please continue to work hard and enjoy your summer packet!

Este paquete contiene información sobre el cuatro de julio, o también llamado el Día de la Independencia. Esta fiesta se celebra en los Estados Unidos y se caracteriza por la cantidad de fuegos artificiales que escuchará y oirá. Verá muchas familias celebrando esta festividad vistiendo de rojo, blanco y azul, además, de colgar una bandera americana o incluso celebrando una fiesta con sus familiares. Por favor, note que este paquete sólo es una ayuda para que usted entienda que la festividad se celebra, pero no esperamos que usted la celebre o disfrute. Para las matemáticas, continuará trabajando en el sistema de unidades y aprendiendo a decir la hora.
