Abstract
These packets are self-contained. Everything a child will need to be successful with the activities is provided in the packet. Students will only need a writing utensil. Additional tools like crayons or scissors can be used, but do not have to be.
Day 1 • ELA: Read Space Expedition Sections: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Math: Moon Multiplication math facts, Science: Create Space Trading cards (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Art: Make yourself an astronaut
Day 2 • ELA: Read Space Expedition Sections: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Math: Moon Multiplication math facts, Science: Create Space trading cards (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn)
Day 3 • ELA: Read to your astronaut buddy the 6 trading cards you made, Math: Mixed Moon math, Science: Create Space trading cards (Uranus, Neptune)
Day 4 • ELA: Read to your astronaut buddy the 8 trading cards you made, Math: Subtraction Space Station Word Problems, Science: Create Space trading cards (pick your favorite space words!)
Day 5 • ELA: Compare & Contrast Size of planets, Math: Subtraction Space Station Word Problems, Science: Review trading cards, Hide your space trading cards, ask someone to find them and you read aloud the facts to them.
