Abstract

This research analyzes caricatures related to Library and Information Science (LIS), to identify LIS aspects in order to recognize valid criticisms and offer recommendations. Two hundred fifty cartoons and caricatures relating to the topics "book", "library", and "LIS" were gathered and analyzed by means of content analysis. The images were categorized into eight groups for analysis.
